Congratulations to 6 Musselman Baseball players for being named to the All Potomac Valley Conference Team.
1st team selections are Senior Evan Woolum, Junior Maverick Keller, and Junior Darrin Zombro
2nd team selections are Senior Tylor Baker, Junior Jacob Whitmore, and Sophomore Chris Schleuss

Musselman baseball is moving on to the regional after three consecutive wins against county rivals. In round one the Applemen defeated Martinsburg 4-2 behind a strong pitching performance by Evan Woolum and Darrin Zombro. Next came a thrilling come from behind win at Hedgesville, 12-10 in 8 innings. Woolum once again picked up the win. The clincher was a 2-0 win Saturday night at Martinsburg. Sophomore Chris Schleuss threw a complete game gem for the win.
The Applemen await the winner of Jefferson-Washington. The first round of the regional will be played Tuesday May 22. Time and location TBD depending on the outcome of the other section.

The Applemen won an 8-4 decision at home against James Wood on Wednesday. They are back in action tomorrow at Petersburg at 4:00 for their season finale.

The Applemen varsity team lost 3-2 in 8 innings to James Wood High School. Scott Mock came on in relief and suffered the loss. Musselman's record is now 21-9.

The Applemen varsity moved to 21-8 with a 10-7 win at Mercersburg in 8 innings. Maverick Keller came on in relief to get the win, while Darrin Zombro retired the last hitter of the game to record the save.

The Applemen varsity team picked up a game at Mercersburg for tomorrow, May 1, at 4:30. The bus will leave at 2:00. Players are dismissed from class at 1:20 to prepare for the trip.
